I am an experienced Counselor Psychotherapist, registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy(UKCP). I have been in practice since 1994 and have been registered with UKCP since 1999.
In addition to this I hold an MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy, I also hold a diploma in Person Centered approach and have undergone some training in Cognitive Behavioral therapy and hold a diploma in Supervision. I am also currently training in an integrative approach to psychotherapy.
As well as being in independent practice. I have extensive work experience
both as a therapist and supervisor in the public and voluntary sectors.
I have wide ranging experience of working with people with
different life experiences. In particular I have experience in
working with people who are or have experienced anxiety,
depression and stress, grief and bereavement, sexual and physical
abuse, gender and sexuality issues and low self-esteem.
I work mainly from Temenos at 289 Abbeydale Road, Sheffield S7 I offer a mixture of daytime and evening sessions (depending on availability).
